The latest version of iOS 27 contains references to six iPhone models that have not yet been released. It is believed that these six iPhones will be released between the fall of 2026 and the spring of 2027.

A Apple officially shared the fifth beta of iOS 27 this week, which allows users to see some of the changes that will be implemented by the next generation of Apple's operating system.
However, the macworld site noticed that this version of iOS 27 has more news, more specifically references to six iPhones still to be released.
The references in question take the form of identifiers used internally by Apple, which, compared with other leaks to be circulated over the Internet, allowed the publication to know which models of mobile phones iOS 27 refers to.
Are they the iPhone 18 (V67) iPhone 18 Pro (V63) iPhone 18 Pro Max (V64) iPhone Air 2 (V62) iPhone 18e (V69) and also iPhone Ultra (V68) – the latter being the first widely spoken Apple mobile phone equipped with a folding screen.
There is no further information on these six models, so we do not yet know details about processors, batteries or cameras. However, the presence of these identifiers in iOS 27 means that Apple does indeed intend to launch them on the market.
By now we know that in September we will have the opportunity to know iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max. Likewise, iPhone Ultra has been practically guaranteed at the Apple annual event that will take place next month – this is not how often information leaks about it appear.
IPhone 18 and iPhone 18e, however, should take a little longer to arrive, as the rumors that have circulated point to a presentation in the spring of 2027. The only one of these six models whose existence has not been clear for a few months is iPhone Air 2 which, despite the below-expected sales, should be entitled to another opportunity by Apple.
The official announcement of iPhone Air 2 is only scheduled for next year, very possibly on the same occasion when iPhone 18 and iPhone 18e will be revealed.
It should be stressed, however, that this information is still nothing but speculation and, since Apple is not in the habit of commenting, confirming or denying rumors, we will have to wait a little longer for other leaks or official announcements of these devices.
