Lionel Richie remains hospitalized at the intensive care unit in St. Louis while doctors try to figure out if he has any heart problems.
TMZ advanced with an update on the singer's state of health after talking to sources that are aware of the situation.
It is known that the artist is conducting medical examinations to investigate possible heart problems and is expected to be discharged this Wednesday.
Lionel Richie, remember, checked into the hospital on Saturday after he felt bad during his concert at The Muny.
At the time it was reported that the doctors suspected a possible slight dehydration and were expected to be discharged on Tuesday. However, the singer remained hospitalized in intensive care and the new hospital exit forecast is pointed to this Wednesday.
People who were at Lionel Richie’s last show told him that the 77-year-old artist seemed to be having some difficulty at the end of the concert, having asked the team for a chair while picking up the last song, “All Night Long”.
