Audi RS 5 with 720 hp and limited edition carbon fibre from Abt

O Audi RS 5 became even more aggressive thanks to Abt Sportsline, in your special project RS5-R. It's an issue limited to 130 units throughout the world, in the bodies of berlin (Limousine) and van (Avant).

There's one hybrid plugin engine with Abt Power update S that makes the power rise from 639 to 720 cv. Binary evolves from 825 to 905 Mm. At the heart of the system, is a thermal motor V6 turbo 2.9 liters with 591 hp power. The maximum speed is equal to that of the serial model (250 km/h).

The suspension is lower, firmer and accurate, leaving the body closer to the ground. Its slope is mitigated with the sports stabilizers bars, which also represent benefits at the turn entry. There are still rims Abt Evo Performance 22 inches in bright black.

The body has an aerodynamic package in visible bright carbon or carbon Camoufflage matte style. There are front spoiler with blades, air entrances to the front wheel arches, rear-view mirror covers and side skirts. Behind, there is a new bumper with diffuser, as well as a wing with aerodynamic blades.

For the second quarter of next year, there are new customization options for the Audi RS 5, such as an increase in power to 800 hp and an Akrapovic titanium exhaust system.

Inside has also been modified

When entering the RS5-R of Abt Sportsline, there is a microfiber coating Dynamic in central console, board and seat structures, as well as gearbox handles with carbon fiber finishing (the same chosen for the outside).

The fact that it is a special and limited edition is made evident with the inscription 1 of 130 on the threshold of the doors – where there is also an emblem.

How much is it?

To have one of the 130 units of RS5-R, you will have to pay at least 62 thousand euros (Berlin with glossy carbon fiber finish). The price can reach 68,000 euros in the van version with Carbon Camouflage mate. In addition, the installation cost of EUR 7,160 for the Limousine variant and EUR 7,600 for Avant.
