As 09:05 in Lisbon, the EuroStoxx 600 dropped 0.93% to 624.37 points.
The scholarships of London, Paris and Frankfurt were 0.56%, 1.04% and 0.78%, while those of Madrid and Milan were 0.85% and 1.19%, respectively.
The Lisbon grant maintained the opening trend, with the main index, PSI, falling 0.32% to 9,301,91 points.
The euro was low against the dollar, it remained below $1.12 and it dwindled 0.02% to $1.1195 on the Frankfurt exchange market.
In the context of increasing tensions between the US and Iran, the price of Brent’s generic reference barrel contract in Europe rises to 3,91% to $104.12.
The reference barrel of West Texas Intermediate (WTI) in the United States of America (USA), also advances, 3.78% to $91.62.
Similarly, the price of the active natural gas contract on the Dutch TFF market, a reference in Europe, is increasing by 2.72% to 80,200 euros per megawatt hour (MWh).
Ascents occur after a hurricane in the Gulf of Mexico has forced the circulation to stop more than 510,000 barrels a day, equivalent to a quarter of the region's capacity.
On the other hand, a report states that the White House would have asked the Pentagon for plans for a possible attack on Iran before the November 3rd elections in a context of rising tensions due to attacks on cargo ships in the waters of the Persian Gulf ahead of Qatar and the Huthis offensives against Saudi airports.
The pressure on the markets is felt by the interest on the French sovereign debt, which increases the difference from the German debt (risk premium) to 139.7 basis points.
The interest on 10-year bonds was at the border of the historic peaks of decades reached in recent days, with those of France at 4.899%, those of Germany at 3.502% and those of the USA at 5.327 %.
The markets also react to the minutes of the last meeting of the US Federal Reserve (Fed) of September, presented on Wednesday, and with the expectation of a further increase in rates before the end of the year due to the persistence of inflation.
In Asia, the South Korean Kospi closed with a 2.62% rise, the Nikkei index closed down 1.42%, and the Shanghai and Shenzhen scholarships, which again operated today after being closed during the Golden Week in the previous days, fell 0.79% and 2.10%, respectively, while Hang Seng ended with a 1.33% drop.
The futures of the U.S. indices are declining by 0.65% for Dow Jones and 0.47% for the Nasdaq technology, after finishing on the down Wednesday, decreasing by 0.66% and 0.22%, respectively.
On the agenda of the day, in Germany there is the trade balance of August, and in the USA the initial requests for unemployment.
On the other hand, gold rises 0.22% to $4,120.23 an ounce, while silver retreats 1.62% to 58,8106 dollars.
In the cryptocurrency market, bitcoin yields 0.37% to $83,079.6.
