The new special edition MINI 1965 Victory Edition is coming, which celebrates the victory of MINI Cooper S at the 1965 Monte Carlo Rally – 61 years ago. It is intended for two models, including a 100 percent electric.

H61 years ago, the MINI Cooper S celebrated the triumph at the Monte Carlo Rally. Now, the achievement is honored by new MINI 1965 Victory Edition, a special edition that now reaches the market.
Announced in February, it is distinguished by its own personality and identity. For two models of the brand range: John Cooper Works and the 100% electric John Cooper Works Electric.
The decoration refers to the victorious bolid, with a red Chili Red color contrasting with the white Glazed White on a white strip on the hood and back, continuing a white roof.
The same shade is on the covers of the rear-view mirrors and on the sides – more specifically, on the back number 52, which was in the winning car. In Pillar C, is the 1965 inscription.
There are lids of the centre of the wheels and valves and specific 18-inch rims, while the passenger compartment includes the 1965 inscription on the protection of the doors and a special dedication on the driver's door. The third radius of the steering wheel also belongs to MINI 1965 Victory Edition.
When does it arrive and how much does it cost?
This special edition should arrive in Portugal in September in John Cooper Works version from the 54,990 euros. As far as the price for the electric variant, should start at 50,990 euros, but arrival is only scheduled for december. Cooper S will not have this edition in the Portuguese offer.
