Claudio Ramos reacted to the controversy last Wednesday, July 22nd. The communicator received in the studio, in the program “Two at 10” the young Ana Rita Barros, 23, who went to talk about obesity and self-confidence.

But the presenter's words in addressing the creator of digital content did not go well and Claudius was even criticized.

Phrases such as: “I don’t think you’re happy this way at the health level” and also: “I can’t present a television program where it’s normal to have someone 120 kilos okay”, they were addressed to the young woman, who considered them an attack.

“ I feel like I've been attacked a little bit. I was invited to be there and I felt really attacked, especially by Cláudio Ramos – one of almost prejudice”, said Ana Rita in a video shared on the social network TikTok after the interview.

Claudius Ramos' reaction to all the controversy

Cláudio Ramos remained silent during the days following the interview but this Sunday ended up sharing on Instagram where he reacts to what happened.

“ It seems that suddenly the world is divided between fat and thin, but no. The world is divided between good and bad people and I am one of those who appreciate the good because I care zero if they are fat, thin, black, white, yellow, green, if they wear glasses or contact lenses, smooth hair or curls, whether they are high or low. It matters to me that you are free and happy. That's what my way of being is based on.

Obviously not all people have to agree with what is said, but everyone has an obligation to understand the context. We have a political party that uses things a lot out of context and we realize the danger we are in. I'm super in favor of discussing topics and I think here too the world is divided. Those who take advantage to argue interestingly and others who in the darkness where they live see here a light to appear. I do not condemn, but I question those who speak of empathy and use hatred to try to pass on the arguments they do not have. It's no use to me, I've already explained that it doesn't take my sleep away ", started by referring.

“ However, it should be remembered that obesity is a disease and one of the major problems that the WHO is struggling to tackle. Obviously I don't think happiness is defined by the weight of the balance but it's a health problem. I would be happier without the health problems I have, and having some, I therefore speak from experience. If in 2026 I cannot ask this question it is because it is not good for me to go down the avenue every 25 April.

But this is my point of view which also considers that no overweight person has to hide or stop doing what he understands by what the scale or mirror tells him, yet he has an obligation not to pass on the irresponsible message that you can eat fried, chocolates and drink soft drinks every day and happily be lazy when the goal is to influence young people. But this is me, who won't let me be influenced by anyone and like two liters of ice cream a week!

Meanwhile, the week was done with routines and songs. Of joy, of sunshine and of housework. We're all the same. More like one thing than another. Don't destroy yourselves because it's no use to us. Really!”, finished Claudio Ramos.

Guest accuses Claudio Ramos of prejudice: “I felt really attacked”

“ I felt really attacked, especially by Claudio Ramos”, lamented Ana Rita Barros. The young woman was interviewed by the presenter about the issue of obesity and was eventually confronted with questions that made her feel prejudiced.
