The discussion between the two began because of different views between both of the responsibility of Cristiano Ronaldo in successive controversial episodes that have marked the recent career of the advanced.
Simon Jordan, former president of Crystal Palace, accused Piers Morgan of “lamber the boots in a servile way” to Cristiano Ronaldo, pointing his finger at what he considers to be a standard behavior of Portuguese advanced.

Later, and the “Football Uncensored“, Piers Morgan revealed he received a message from Cristiano Ronaldo to comment on this discussion.
“ I sent Cristiano the clip of my discussion with Simon Jordan and he answered back: ‘Tell that blond guy to stop with the botox. He looks like an apple!’”, fired, among laughter, the journalist, counting that this is the “last-minute news” he has about Madeira’s advanced: “Last-minute news from Cristiano Ronaldo. Simon Jordan, you're an apple. A blonde apple with a supposedly smooth face.”
A few hours later, and already this Thursday, Simon Jordan responded to Cristiano Ronaldo, insisting on criticism of Portuguese and Piers Morgan.
“You have no credibility, Piers. Please don't do this, there's no reason to tell us about Cristiano Ronaldo. No one wants to hear your flattering, biased, one-dimensional remarks, flattering Cristiano Ronaldo just because you think he's your friend”, threw the British businessman in today's White & Jordan show, from the British radio station talkSPORT.
“That’s so silly,” Simon Jordan added, before addressing Ronaldo’s statements about his appearance. “What about Botox? I wish I could use Botox. I think it looks pretty good”, concluded the former president of Crystal Palace.
This episode appears after the controversial departure of the captain from the concentration of the national team, when it was installed in Copenhagen, Denmark, and shows that Cristiano Ronaldo, even in Saudi Arabia, remains attentive to what is one of the soap operas of the time in world football.
