The governor of the Kursk region, Alexander Khinshtein, stated, in turn, that nearly 200 enemy drones were neutralized in that Russian territory during the previous day.
In addition, Ukrainian forces attacked Kursk with artillery on 45 occasions, Khinshtein said on social networks.
As a result of the attacks on Tuesday, one person died and three others were injured in Kursk, the governor pointed out.
Russia invaded Ukraine on 24 February 2022 and since then the war has already cost the two countries hundreds of thousands of civilian and military lives, according to various sources.
