“ One thing no one talks about is the new car. It's smaller, with less downforce, and for me, it becomes harder to fly. At the same time, it makes talent stand out more. It is one of the reasons Lewis has improved, even because he is extremely talented,” he added.

It should be noted that Lewis Hamilton is the second oldest Grid driver at the age of 41, only surpassed by Fernando Alonso who is 45 years old.

Return to wins and the title race

It is worth noting that with the sixth place in the championship of drivers won in 2025 (156 points), Lewis Hamilton was appointed to the exit door of the team in the last season and Oliver Bearman was associated with a possible promotion at Cavallino Rampante. However, as the young pilot has already admitted, the veteran's return to victories has led to a twist in the narrative so far developed.

The first good indicator appeared in the second Grand Prix in China, which ended with a third place for the British. Later, in Canada, he went back to the podium to close the race at the second position, the same result he achieved in the next race on Monaco's mythical track.

These three podiums preceded a glorious moment long ago coveted by the British: victory. Now, after 686 days, Lewis Hamilton again saw first the chess flag and won the Barcelona Grand Prix.

Since then, the hepta champion has made yet another podium in Silvertone with the third rank and has remained in the fight for the first place of the championship. Currently, Kimi Antonelli is a leader with 219 points and is being followed by Hamilton who adds 169 points, plus nine more than George Russell.

Hamilton keeps the eighth title dream alive: “I won’t stop”

Six years ago, Lewis Hamilton reached his seventh Formula One championship, equaling Michael Schumacher's record. Currently in Ferrari, he pursues the eighth conquest and does not lower his arms.
