ANDm Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, northeast Germany, the polls give the victory to AfD, with 37% to 38% of the votes, ahead of the SPD (Social Democratic Party, center-left), which appears with 33% to 34%.
If the result is confirmed, AfD should not be able to form government, since it does not have a declared coalition partner among the main parties.
Currently, the state is led by the SPD, in coalition with The Left.
In Berlin, where the SPD and the Christian Democratic Union (CDU, Chancellor Friedrich Merz) are in power, polls estimate that the AfD will double the vote of the last regional elections to 18%.
The result would leave AfD third in this state, although support for training remains well below the results achieved in other regions of Germany.
The Party The Left leads the polls with 22% voting intentions, followed by the CDU, with 20%.
Last day 06, AfD had the best result ever in the state of Saxony-Anhalt (east) by winning 43.8% of the votes, but without a majority to form government.
