Kimberly Guilfoyle resigned from the position of US ambassador to Greece after Donald Trump (who was almost his father-in-law) showed himself “discontent” with allegations of inappropriate conduct denounced by the press. Guilfoyl leaves, maintains “respect” by Trump and swears loyalty to the MAGA movement – denying the accusations.

As for proximity, Trump was also questioned. According to The Independent, journalists questioned the US President about whether he was surprised, as he was “almost a member of the family.” Trump replied: “No, she was not a member of my family. You dated my son a long time ago. He went to Greece, did a good job, but we don’t like what we’re reading.”
In turn, confirmation of the request for Guilfoyle to resign was given this Tuesday by the new White House spokesman, Katie Zacharia. When questioned on the subject in press conference, on the first day in office, Zacharia replied: “ We ask the ambassador to resign. She has been wonderful to the team and we wish her good luck.”

Already on social media, Kimberly Guilfoyle Guilfoyle wrote a publication, in which he thanked Trump and the Secretary of State, Marco Rubio, for putting her in office and it was a “privilege to represent the greatest country in the history of the world”.
“ I am particularly proud of the role our embassy has played in strengthening US energy dominance, in advancing economic cooperation and in ensuring that the United States remains the indispensable leader in south-east Europe,” he wrote, also reporting on Donald Trump’s “brave” leadership.
In addition to thanks, the now former ambassador has rejected the improper conduct of being accused, pointing out: “I also want to address the recent allegations against me. These allegations are false, and I intend to vigorously defend my name, my reputation and my integrity. I dedicated my professional life to fighting for justice, defending what is right, and protecting the values that make America exceptional. I will not allow false accusations to define my decades of public service.”
She also stressed that the gratitude and respect for Rubio and Trump remain “infallible” and that she will always be a supporter of the MAGA, as well as a “loyal supporter” of Trump.
The publication, written before the American media advanced that Guilfoyle had already resigned, adds: “Although my time as ambassador may be coming to an end, my commitment to President Trump, to the MAGA movement and to the country I love will never end [...]. Serving the United States has been the honor of my life.”
