The cultural structure The Timespace, in Montemor-o-Novo, in Évora district, has opened applications for the award of four creation grants worth 25 thousand euros each, announced this entity.

ANDm communiqué sent to the agency Lusa, the cultural structure today revealed that the 7th edition of the Creation Grants in the area of contemporary performing arts, with a global amount of 100 thousand euros, has applications open until November 2.
Second The Space of Time, these are “of the most robust artistic creation scholarships in Portuguese territory”.
The Time Space Creation Scholarships have “contributed decisively to the development and presentation of 30 original projects over the last six editions, thus mapping the middle of the current performing arts”, he stressed.
The four creations that will be contemplated will be presented in absolute debut at the facilities of O Espaço do Tempo, in November 2027, under the Festival #ETFEST, after two weeks of final residence to be held at the respective venue.
The jury, with a total of five elements, integrates Elisabetta Bisaro (artistic programmer and future artistic director of O Espaço do Tempo) and Cláudia Galhós (curator of BoCA – Biennial of Contemporary Arts 2027 and expert in performing arts).
The other jurors are Gaya de Medeiros (coreographer and founder of BRABA. Platform), Rui Torrinha (cultural manager and artistic programmer) and Sonia Fernandez Lage (artistic director of Graner – Centre de Creació de Dansa i Arts Vives, in Barcelona, Spain).
Applications are available to national and foreign artists resident in Portugal, either individually or collectively, who may present a minimum of two works until the date of the opening of the competition, and the first work should not be prior to January 1, 2019.
The results, according to the cultural entity, will be publicized on November 27, in the channels of The Space of Time.
The association announced that next month, in this year's edition of the #ETFEST Festival, the four winning projects of the creation scholarship contest held in 2025 will be presented.
The works are “If the Deep Was on the Surface”, by Bruno Brandolino, and “I-Hón”, by Natacha Campos, on 13 and 14 November, as well as “Heroas do Mar”, d’As Docinhas, and “A Cell in Uranus, Lisbon (1980)”, by Lila VIvo, on 27 and 28 November.
The grants are supported by the BPI and the “La Caixa” Foundation.
The Space of Time is a transdisciplinary artistic structure, founded by choreographer Rui Horta, in 2000, at the Convent of Greetings, in Montemor-o-Novo.
