ANDis the broth spilled between Benfica and FC Porto. The group of eagles presented this Wednesday an exhibition to the Discipline Council of the Portuguese Football Federation to ask for penalties and punishments for dragons, after situations occurred during the Classic of last Sunday, in the Dragon Stadium.

It tastes like Sports to Minute that, as was advanced by the national sports press, there are four points that constitute this complaint made by the Club of Light.

The first involves the behavior of one of the elements of the bench of substitutes of the blues and whites, namely the wardrobe of the emblem portista, which performed offensive gestures to the Benfica side, after the second goal of FC Porto, pointed by Victor Froholdt, at 54 minutes.

Soon thereafter, a request for punishment is identified for the middle Gabri Veiga, for allegedly throwing a bottle to the Benfica substitute bank during the meeting.

There was another moment that generated a new criticism in the exhibition of the eagles, which ask for the ban on the Dragon Stadium, after a provocative and disrespectful behavior against the incarnated supporters present on the visiting bench, after being put music and animation as “Crazy walk chickens”, among others.

Last but not least problematic, Benfica still calls into question the lawfulness and legality of the images that are being used by Porto Canal about the Benfica alternate bank, as well as shooting the likelihood that these images are being misused for the public domain.

Classic followed with provocation and response

The Classic has already finished in the field, but has not yet been ‘fixed’ outside the four lines. FC Porto took advantage of its newsletter ‘Diary Dragons’ on Monday to return to ‘pick’ Benfica after the triumph, by 3-1, in the duel of the seventh day of the I League.

The blue and white communication did not waste time remembering the track displayed at the entrance in the field of the two teams this Sunday, which mentioned the “supremacy” of the dragons, which began to have more titles than the eagles after the Candido de Oliveira Super Cup won this season.

“The definition of ‘supremacy’ in the dictionary of the Portuguese language is ‘primacy or superiority of something or someone in relation to those of the same species; supreme power or authority; hegemony, predominance, preponderance’ – everything that was seen last night in the Stadium of the Dragon, where FC Porto paid the Benfica 3-1 and confirmed, on the lawn, the message displayed in the stands at the time of the entrance into the field”, started by writing the porters.

The provocations were received in Lisbon by Benfica, who soon responded to FC Porto with a compilation of bids from the meeting this Sunday accompanied by the description “very normal things”.

Among the cases pointed out are Gabri Veiga's harsh entry over Alexander Bah at minute five, the moment when Gianluca Prestianni bleeds from the face, protests and takes a yellow card, ending with a moment when João Palhinha makes a cut within the laws of the game, without touching Borja Sainz, but after the Spanish stand waiting for the foul, Miguel Nogueira... whistled.
