The European Central Bank (ECB) maintained on 23 July the three leading rates, as anticipated by the market, which now foresees an increase in September.

At the previous monetary policy meeting on 11 June, the ECB first raised its principal rates since September 2023.

The ECB’s next monetary policy meeting will take place on 9 and 10 September in Berlin.

Euribors are fixed by the average rates at which a set of 21 banks in the euro area are willing to lend money to each other.
