A opening of the new Delta Coffee House Experience store at Cais do Sodré in Lisbon, had the presence of several known faces, including actress Inês Heredia.
Speaking to the News to Minutes during the event, Inês Heredia began precisely by sharing that “does not live without coffee” and, says, “feel the difference of a good coffee for a coffee more or less”. She is therefore a drinker who takes her back to the past.
“ I remember the smell of coffee, being at home or in restaurants and us [children] making mixtures with sugar and coffee leftovers in the cups”you remember.
Already living the hottest season of the year, the actress also said that she “is not fully on vacation”, but will enjoy a few days of rest in September. And, he points out, for weeks they will only be dedicated to the children, Louis and Thomas, the fruit of the relationship ended with Gabriela Sobral. “I am with them and that’s that. But there are other weeks when I will be working.”
About the days you will be on vacation with the children, Inês Heredia pointed out that he will have “primada, balls of Berlin, few rules, much confusion...”.
Questioned about motherhood, the actress confessed that “it’s not a chicken mother at all.” However, he also admits, “there are many rules.”.
“ Because I believe the kids feel safe and confident in the rules, in the routine. I'm very structured about routines. Even with few rules in summer, there are routines that are the same. They probably lie down half an hour later, but it's not much more than that. The meals are the same, there's only a little more sugar, but it's mandatory to eat soup and fruit. I’m quite a rule in this.”
“ But then I'm not chicken. When they fall, I don't run. Unless I realize it was something serious. I want them to have tools to realize that they have strength and that they are brave. I am there, but I make them manage to solve themselves ", explained.
“ Sometimes it hurts, sometimes you want to help or they're doing something and if you're going to push the button it's faster, if you're going to hit the shoelaces it's faster. But it's realizing that resilience is built like this, and that they're going to be much happier if they take their time doing a task and suddenly get it. The happiness I'm going to give you is much greater than if I were to solve it. These are ways to educate. I see them much happier to overcome a task than I do for them”, he added.
And will it be easy for you to break the rules in the summer? “Yes, there are things that break. We're going out to dinner in the middle of the week, because there's no classes the day after. There are days when we're having dinner with all our cousins and maybe they'll lie down at 11:00. Some days that happens. As a general rule, they don’t have much of a framework yet.”
“ For example, this year's year's pass came to Gabi and we woke up the two that if they wanted to stay up until midnight, if they could... But at 10:00, they're rotten sleeping and snoring. The fact that they have rules and the body is used to... That's who I am, too. If I go to bed at 4:00, I'll wake up at 7:00 anyway. The body is used to certain routines. But I think I’m a normal mother, not so much to the sea, not so much to the earth,” she later shared.
Luís and Tomás, who completed seven years in December last year, already have some well-defined personality traits, and the actress sees similarities with you.
“They are completely different from each other. Mine's got a lot on it. Louis has my sense of humor, Thomas has my perfectionism. Louis has my stubbornness... But then they're perfect. They have nothing to do with me. Louis is a great engineer, Tomás is a brutal writer. I'm a drooling mother. I always think my children are the greatest,” Inês Heredia finally said.
