Igor Crispim, 42 years old, is missing since the afternoon of Friday, October 2, after having been discharged from Vila Franca de Xira Hospital.

The man, who lives in Alcoentre, municipality of Azambuja, will have signed the term of responsibility to be discharged from the hospital, where he was hospitalized since September 30, after another epileptic attack.

Contrary to what would be predicted, after leaving the hospital, Igor did not return home, was never seen again and is undisputed.

The first warning for his disappearance was made by the Alcoentre Board of Freguesia.

“ After having been discharged from the Hospital of Vila Franca de Xira, last Friday, October 2, it has been in uncertain place since then, since it did not return home in Alcoentre. We ask everyone, if they have any information about their whereabouts or have seen them somewhere, to contact them as soon as possible with the GNR of Aveiras de Cima”, shared the joint on social networks, remembering that “all information can be important”.

“ We thank everyone for their collaboration and ask them to share this publication, so that they can reach as many people as possible”, reads in the note where the number of the Republican National Guard (GNR) of Aveiras de Cima is also left: 263 470 220.

However, the family also appealed to anyone who has information on Igor Crispin's whereabouts to contact the authorities.

Epileptic attacks, no medication, no light or water for 1 year

A CMT VIgor's nephew, Wilson Crispim, has ensured that the family has done everything to find the uncle but that so far there are no clues as to his location.

Wilson also revealed that since 2022 the family has asked the competent authorities to help Igor. The man suffers from epileptic attacks and refuses to take medication, which causes him to be assisted successively in the hospital and hospitalized following the episodes.

In addition, Igor has had no light or water at home for over a year and lives in inhumane conditions.

The family members have even filed a lawsuit to obtain the status of greater companion, but have not had any response.

Family accuses entities of “doing little or nothing”

The regional newspaper Local Value, Wilson Crispim accused entities of “doing little or nothing” for uncle.

The situation in which Igor lives is not unknown to the entities. Both social workers and even a bailiff are aware of the living conditions. However, despite this, no intervention was performed capable of changing the situation.

For the family, Igor, who has no cell phone, no money, had to receive a “permanent follow-up”, “beneficiate from an institutional response that would guarantee better conditions and regular monitoring”.

Wilson also criticizes the response of the social action services of the City Council, as well as the action of the Public Security Police (PSP), which considered having had a “deplorable” performance in the face of the case.

The GNR of Aveiras de Cima, according to the young man, showed real interest in following Igor's disappearance and family concerns.

Igor's family members have been searching on their own initiative in Vila Franca de Xira and surrounding areas, trying to see where Igor might have followed after leaving the hospital. However, to date, without success.

O News to Minutes is already trying to get more information on the case with PSP and GNR.
