Oapple fans and more attentive followers will certainly have noticed that the latest alignment of the brand's mobile phones has only had Pro models. Yeah, in 2026 Apple decided to book the end of the year for the launch of iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max, opting to launch iPhone 18 somewhere during the spring of 2027.
The Digital Chat Station page on the Weibo social network has now advanced with some specifications on iPhone 18 and, although we are entitled to good news regarding performance, there is also the idea that the standard model of this generation of Apple mobile phones will have a price increase.
According to the available information, iPhone 18 will be equipped with a 2nm A20 processor, which will help the mobile phone deliver performance and efficiency improvements. Even if you don't have an A20 Pro as iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max, the new processor should (still) present significant improvements over iPhone 17.
Another department where, allegedly, Apple wants to improve is the battery. Although the page on this social network does not have specific numbers, it is believed that iPhone 18 will have a larger battery and will allow users to enjoy the phone for longer.
All this, apparently, will reflect the price of iPhone 18 to the point of costing more than iPhone 17. Remember that when it was announced, the 256GB version of iPhone 17 cost 989 euros and that, in the meantime, Apple decided to increase the value to 1,139 euros in this configuration.
According to the information available, it is estimated that the increasing cost of RAM memory components will make iPhone 18 present a price higher than that currently displayed by iPhone 17.
However, since none of this information has been officially confirmed by Apple, we will have to wait a little longer to learn about the Apple Company plans.
