O Israeli army today accused Lebanese military forces of not acting against the presence of military weapons and infrastructure of Shia Hezbollah group in southern Lebanon.

“ Despite its statements, the Lebanese Army has not taken action on an important Hezbollah military infrastructure in southern Lebanon,” Israel’s Defense Forces (IDF) said in a statement.

The Israeli forces cite as an example a Hezbollah “military infrastructure” in the Kfarra region that, according to the FDI, was used by the group to store weapons. Israel informed the Lebanese Army about this site in December 2025 and later Lebanon “said that the issue had been resolved.”.

However, according to the Israeli Army, months later “hezbollah was found to continue operating on the spot” and to use it for its own purposes.

According to the note, the Lebanese Army failed to prevent Hezbollah from continuing its activities and continuing to strengthen itself.

The FDI stressed that “they expect the Lebanese Army to act more decisively and effectively to fulfil its responsibilities and avoid the presence of military weapons and infrastructure” of the Shia group in southern Lebanon — an area still occupied by Israeli troops.

In another statement released today, the Israeli Army claims to have dismantled Hezbollah’s 540 “infrastructures” in the area adjacent to the border with Israel in southern Lebanon, occupied under the justification of controlling possible attacks by Hezbollah on Israeli territory.

Among these, it refers to deposits where they claim to have located more than 150 weapons, such as grenades, rockets, RPG-type projectiles, short- and long-range anti-tank missiles, artillery pieces, launchers and Kalashnikov assault rifles.

Lebanon and Israel are holding a meeting today in the United States — after almost three months of direct talks due to Beirut’s protests against the continuation of Israeli attacks — when half a year of meetings are completed that have led to few practical results.

During the tripartite meeting, which will take place at the headquarters of the United States Central Command (CENTCOM) in Florida, and will bring together military delegations from both countries, Lebanon intends to demand the end of Israeli actions in its territory, in order to proceed with the implementation of the framework peace agreement established by both countries.
