José Raposo took advantage of the motto of the anniversary of his colleague José Eduardo, who completes this Tuesday, August 4, 81 years old, to appeal to televisions, theaters and movie professionals who hire senior actors to work.
Living in the House of the Artist, José Eduardo still manages to be called on time to represent but the same does not happen with so many actors who could be practicing the profession.
“Joseph Eduardo is 81 years old! He is a resident of the House of the Artist and is one of the rare actors of proven age who is still being called punctually to work! “This country is not for old people” is the title of a film that applies perfectly to our country!”, he starts by saying.
“Zé (and some more!) has all the physical and cognitive faculties perfectly able to work, but the actors of his age are not called to theaters, televisions or cinemas as happens in other countries (just the example of Spain next door, the Brazilian soap operas, etc.),” he added.
At the end of the sharing, José Raposo makes the appeal: “I make an appeal here to those who are in charge (government and chambers): encourage and/or invite producers, directors, directors, entrepreneurs, to hire old people, because they are part of the fiction that imitates reality, that is life!!!”, he said.
José Eduardo, remember, has already entered numerous projects on representation. “Vila Faia”, “Cinzas”, A Banqueira do Povo”, “Nico D’Obra”, “Aventuras do Camilo”, “Gardens Forbidden”, “My family is an animation”, “Film of the Sea”, “Jewelve of Africa”, “Your gaze”, “I gave you almost everything”, among many other projects.
