Odukes of Sussex announced that they will return to the UK after six years away from the royal family.
We still don't know where Meghan and Harry are going to live, but one thing's for sure, they're not going to have monarchic responsibilities again.
According to the press, Carlos was pleased with the younger son's decision but did William and Kate react the same way?
According to Emily Nash, the publisher of royal affairs at Hello! magazine, the Princes of Wales are probably “not at all satisfied” with the news of this return.
“What intrigues this situation is absolute silence coming from that side. And the interesting thing is that they're usually traveling this time of year. I imagine that they are not at all satisfied with this ", said.
“ It will be a huge challenge to see them back in the UK suddenly, emerging and acting publicly, if that is the way they choose to go. Much has been said and done, causing damage to this relationship that seems almost irreparable ", explained.
Emily believes that it is likely that Kate and William were already aware of this return once Charles III was informed on Sunday.
“ I can't imagine a scenario where they were welcomed with open arms. But it is to be expected that the king had talked to William about it, if he had been informed. We believe the couple from Wales were notified in advance. They did not know at the same time that the rest of the world; therefore, they had time to assimilate the news ", concluded.
According to People magazine, the Dukes of Sussex go with their two sons, Prince Archie, seven years old, and Princess Lilibet, five years old, for a long period and as of this month. According to the publication, the children will attend school in September.
The couple will keep the house in Montecito, California, and their holiday home in Portugal, while establishing a base in the United Kingdom.
