Sporting SAD had a net result of EUR 34.7 million (ME) in the financial year 2025/26, an annual increase of 74% compared to the profit of 20 ME in the previous period, today announced the ‘lions’ to the market.

YEAH the fifth consecutive year in which SAD ‘green and white’ makes profits, with a value accumulated in this period of 117 ME, and Sporting to highlight through the report and accounts released through the Securities Market Commission (SCMV) that the net result of the last football season was “impulsed by the growth of 27% of operating income without squad transactions compared to 2024/2025”.
The amount of operational income in June 2026 was 187.7 ME, about 40 ME compared to the homologous period, and confirmed a new maximum of the club led by Frederico Varandas, with the ‘lion’ slice coming from the recipes related to participation in the Champions League, which allowed a fit of 80,3 ME.
This item also benefited from the records of other operational activities, with Sporting highlighting the revenues of Gamebox (9.6 ME) and hospitality (10.9 ME).
Turnover reached a new maximum of EUR 300 million, more 13% than in the previous year, and incomes excluding player transactions represent 63% of this amount, “reflecting the commitment to SAD’s financial sustainability,” the Lisbon emblem was attached.
On the other hand, the operational result increased by 12% to 50.7 ME, also mainly due to the good performance of Sporting in the ‘Champions’ in the last season, in which it only fell in the final rooms in front of the Arsenal English (finalist won by Paris Saint-Germain).
