Sylvia Jefferies, who gave life to Jolene Barnes, the mother of the character Juliette Barnes played by Hayden Panettiere in "Nashville", joined the many tributes that were made to the actress shortly after the news of her death became public.
“This touches me deeply. I had to take the day off to let the idea that Hayden is no longer with us come in. I'm very direct. Sometimes it wasn't easy living with Hayden. I remember calling it a real tornado. But she was our tornado. The sun that appears, the light mist that forms, the rain that intensifies, the whirlwind of everything around it and then the return of the gentle rain, along with the calm, the sun and the light in their eyes, and the laughter in their voice ", began to share.
“ She had an incredibly bright future ahead of her, although her inner demons were sometimes hard to bear. I pause as I reflect on her, looking at photographs, reminiscing on scenes, listening to voice messages and remembering the first time she called me "mother" while sharing stories of her youth. We looked distant, but we were very close in our hearts”, he continued to remember, telling that they spoke again recently after the release of Hayden Panettiere’s memoir book, “This Is Me: A Reckoning”.
“ Our birthdays are separated for only a week. 20 years (!) and a week apart. We got back in touch a few months ago after I read your memories, and we had plans to meet when she came by again. [...] I was so proud of her for sharing the true Hayden, something that must have been extremely painful for such a gentle soul”, he wrote in the same publication.
Remember that Hayden Panettiere died days before she turned 37. The date was to be celebrated on 21 August.
“ Our hearts are broken, knowing that you are no longer far from a phone call or a message, but we can rest assured that you are at peace with your brother, dancing in that water with the dolphins you loved so much. I love you, my dear. Always, in every way. With love, Mama”, completed Sylvia Jefferies.
To remember that there were many stars in the world of representation that remembered and honored Hayden Panettiere in social networks. Among them is the publication by Kim Cattrall, who played Hayden Panettiere's mother in the 2005 Disney film "The Way to Fame", and Brittany Snow, who played Hayden Panettiere's sister in the series "Guiding Light".
Hayden Panettiere died on Sunday, August 16. The actress was found “unconscious”. Emergency services were alerted by a call to an “unconscious woman”, who was later identified as Hayden Panettiere.
