Manuel Luís Goucha again saw his name and image to be misused on social networks with the aim of cheating netizens.
The TVI host made a point of reacting to the event and once again used his official Instagram page to report the fake profile.
When showing an image that had unmarked the page, Goucha wrote: “ One more fake account, and there's already been people who fall for it. It's even easy to disassemble since it's known I don't follow any account. My Instagram is just this one. On Facebook is Manuel Luís Goucha - TVI. It's just this one. Everything else is fake.”
This is not the first time Manuel Luís Goucha has been the victim of identity theft on social networks. For years this has been a subject that has sometimes been emerging, as happened, for example, five years ago.
In 2020, the presenter made an identical publication on social networks to denounce the misuse of his name and image. “Attention! I've been brought in publications that are made abusively on my behalf with promises of cash prizes on a fake Facebook wall. The only real mural is this: Manuel Luís Goucha – TVI. Don’t be fooled!”, he wrote at the time.
