O Monaco remained in the lead of the French Football League today, despite the 2–2 draw at the Toulouse reception, while Paris Saint-Germain added the third consecutive win by winning the Le Mans 3–1 on the sixth day.
At Stade Louis II, the Monegasques, with the Portuguese Flávio Nazinho at the ‘eleven’, reached the break to win by 2-0, but allowed the recovery of Toulouse, which won the third draw of the season, in three games played outside the house.
Despite equality, Monaco is the only team still undefeated in Ligue 1 and remains in first place, with 14 points, one more than Lille, who won Le Havre by 1-0 and rose to second position.
Lille advanced at five minutes by the French Dilane Bakwa, and held the advantage against the latter, despite finishing the meeting with another player.
Without the Portuguese side Tiago Santos, which is unavailable due to a severe knee injury, a team guided by the Italian technician Davide Ancelotti will now have to improve the income to receive the Arsenal, on Tuesday, for the Champions League.
The Paris FC, which occupied a place on the podium before the stop for the selections, suffered the first loss in the championship, losing by 1-0 on the visit to Lorient.
The French average Gabin Bernardeau scored the only goal of the meet, at 68 minutes, and left the English coach Liam Rosenior team in fourth place, with 11 points.
With the same points, the Paris Saint-Germain, which had the Portuguese international João Neves at first and until 58 minutes, approaches the top places, after winning the Le Mans at home by 3-1, achieving the third consecutive triumph in the race.
In the absence of Ousmane Dembélé, spared by the Spanish coach Luis Enrique, the Brazilian Lucas Beraldo inaugurated the marker, at 19 minutes, in the conversion of a great penalty, after a touch with the hand of an opponent player, having been replaced by Vitinha at 59 minutes.
Frenchman Louis Mafouta tied it at 54 minutes, but Georgian Khvicha Kvaratskhelia again placed Parisians at the 61s in charge of a shot by Spanishman Fabian Ruiz. The Frenchman Maghnes Akliouche fixed the final result at 68.
Paris Saint-Germain ranks fifth, with 11 points, the same as Paris FC and Lyon, trained by Paulo Fonseca, who closes the podium, and prepares the trip to Manchester City on Wednesday to the Champions League.
Brest has already returned to victories after two defeats, scoring home Angers by 5-1. The British team rose to seventh place, while the Angers remain in 11.
