O Lyon de Paulo Fonseca suffered a lot today to win the Nice, for 2-1, but rose to the first place of the French Football League, to the seventh day, accompanied by Paris Saint-Germain, Lille, Paris FC and the former isolated commander Monaco.
When he started the match, Lyon knew that a triumph would take him to the top, something that hasn't happened since 2021. To play down to 10 elements from 70 minutes, the hosts suffered a lot and the 90+3 were saved by the VAR, which invalidated the draw attempt, which would throw it to the sixth position.
The quintet that unusually leads the Gaul championship amounts to 14 points, and on the next journey Lyon visits Paris Saint-Germain.
Nice had not yet ventured into the attack when Elye Wahi's coast diverted to the farthest pole a crossing of Jonathan Clauss on the right at 18 minutes.
Lyon maintained the most offensive style and game and at 32 was rewarded, with the goalkeeper defending a forward ball, harnessed by the Czech Pavel Sulc, who made a spearhead and evened.
The twist was consummated at 36, with American Tanner Tessmann headlining for the second pole, crossed by Swiss Zachary Athekame on the right.
In the complementary stage, Nice was bolder, at 53 the former Benfiquist Witsel headed the beam and at 70 the outsiders saw a reckless entrance of the Japanese Keito Nakamura, who had entered nine minutes before, be punished with the direct red card, leaving the rival reduced to 10.
Almost in response, at 73, Elye Wahi headed the pole and at 90+3 the advanced scored even, but left in a slight out of play, detected by the VAR.
A few hours earlier, Monaco, who was in command alone, but only won one of the last four challenges, suffered the first defeat of the season, by 1-0 on the tour of Lorient, with Noah Cadiou's goal, penalti, at 61 minutes.
The Paris FC, with the best championship start in its history, also won, in this case the Rennes, by 4-3, consummated with penalti to 90+7 converted by the Maliano Lassine Sinayoko.
On Saturday, Lille had yielded a 1-1 home draw with Brest and Paris Saint-Germain won by 3-1 in Strasbourg.
