O iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 By Max are officially released this Friday, the 18th, which means that some analyses are now being shared to the performance of Apple's new high-ends.

You might think that in this generation of iPhone there is little news about predecessors and, in fact, if we look at design and features, it is clear that a lot of them are due to the iOS 27 update and not to the mobile phone itself. However, that does not mean that there are some noteworthy improvements.

This is the case with the battery charging speed that, as the Ice Universe page says on the social network X, was entitled to a considerable evolution with the iPhone 18 By Max.

According to data from Xiaobai’s Tech Reviews on YouTube and shared by this page on X, iPhone 18 Pro Max only takes 10 minutes to charge 34% of the battery, 15 minutes to charge 55% and 55 minutes to go to 100%.

“ Loading speed of iPhone 18 Pro improved dramatically and even beats the Galaxy S26 Ultra. And don’t forget, this is with a 5,400mAh battery”, write the person responsible for the Ice Universe page. “ The charging speed has never been one of the strengths of the iPhone, but this generation is a great improvement”.

According to gSMArena website, the predecessor of this top-of-the-line iPhone 17 Pro Max, took 15 minutes to reach 38% and only reached 100% after 72 minutes of loading.

With regard to Galaxy S26 Ultra, it takes 15% to reach 51% and only 43 minutes for a 100% charge, with the battery being smaller and having a capacity of “only” 5,000mAh.
