A hayden Panettiere's death last August 16th, at age 36, remains one of the most discussed subjects today. It is not yet known exactly what caused the death of the young actress but her tragic departure has been one of the most discussed themes on social networks.
Fans of the artist have recovered some of their interviews, older and more recent, and there is one that is talking because it involves one of the most famous cosmetics brands in the world: Neutrogena.
Hayden was the face of this brand for a decade, but when she gave an interview about the postpartum depression she suffered, Neutrogena ended up canceling the contract because she didn't want to be associated with it.
Also in her memoir, released this year, “This Is Me: A Reckoning”, she wrote that she was trying to live in a specific way to fit the image of “pureness and impeccable cleaning” of skin care brand products and that, nevertheless, was not enough.
“ I had worked with these people for ten years and I remember not hearing a word from anyone. I remember that it broke my heart ", confided on the moment he realized that they did not renew his contract.
Brand criticism has multiplied, which has led Neutrogena to make a communication on social networks.
“ We are deeply saddened by Hayden Panettiere's death. For over a decade, Hayden was a valuable member of our Neutrogen community. We are proud of the partnership we had with her and we recognise that we did not give her the necessary support at a very difficult time. This does not reflect the values of Neutrogena or who we want to be”, one can read.
This statement also promised that the brand would make a “significant investment in a long-standing partner organisation dedicated to women’s community health” to broaden access to support on issues such as postpartum depression.
Neutrogena also informed that she chose to wait before manifesting herself as a way of respecting the actress's family.
“ Everyone in Neutrogena expresses their sincere condolences to Hayden’s family and everyone who loved her,” the document concluded.
Panettiere, best known for his roles in "Heroes" and "Nashville", died on August 16 in South Carolina. The actress was found “unconscious” and in “cardiorespiratory arrest” and, despite attempts at resuscitation, the artist did not survive.
