The Portuguese restaurant where Meghan Markle and Prince Harry passed

Harry and Meghan Markle were on vacation in Portugal as evidenced by photos shared on social networks. They passed a restaurant in Melides where you can taste some of the typical regional food.

A more recent publication of Meghan Markle's social networks does not fool. Meghan and Prince Harry were with the family in Portugal, more specifically in the Melides area. They shared photos on the beach and even showed the passage through a restaurant known in the locality.

In the images you can only see the facade of The Melidense. In fact, in the gallery you showed, there are no pictures of the interior of the restaurant so we don't even know if you ate there. Still, the passage through the area is more of the right and somehow the space aroused some curiosity to Meghan Markle.

What you eat n’O Melidense

This is a traditional food restaurant and in the shared image you can see some of the dishes highlighted that day. This is the case for migas with meat, honeycombs with chorizo, tomato soup with poached eggs, stewed lamb, garlic vine meat, garlic açorda, tomato eggs with french fries or alentejo pork.

Among other specialties, also attached to the door, pass by the tomato chicken, boiled lamb, alguidar meat, fried shrimp with olive oil and garlic, fried sausage with scrambled eggs or four eggs in tomato. The coal grills are also highlighted, such as sardines, bass, salmon or horse mackerel.

This is one of the restaurants suggested by Condé Nast Traveler magazine, which is close to the Melides Red Hotel, by Christian Louboutin. “Don't miss dinner at the local restaurant The Melidense, which serves delicious grilled sardines on a small terrace after a day on the beach” writes the publication.

The restaurant opens for noon lunches at 2:30. Then dinners are served between 7:00 and 9:00. It's closed on Wednesday.

And the store where Meghan Markle ‘lost’

In the publication shared by Meghan Markle it is still possible to see that I was also at the Cashew store in Comporta. The store opened the first space in 2020 and changed location in 2024. It is assumed with a concept store of beach items, clothing, accessories and cosmetics. It brings together several national and international brands.
