O Osasuna of the Spanish Football League today deposed coach Luis Miguel Ramis after eight days and recovered Jagoba Arrasate, one of the most important coaches in his recent history.
Jagoba Arrasate, who joined for two and a half seasons until the end of 2028/29 and will be presented on Tuesday, is the second coach with more games in the history of Osasuna (256), after having guided the team between 2018 and 2024.
The 48-year-old coach, who had previously trained Real Sociedad and Numancia, raised the navarra formation as early as 2018, subsequently obtaining five quiet stays among the largest in Spanish football.
In 2022/23 the Osasuna was even the finalist of the King's Cup, which lost to Real Madrid (2-1), qualifying for the Conference League.
Osasuna follows in 16th, with eight points, only three more than the first teams in the descent zone, after two victories, two draws and four losses, which dictated the departure of Luis Miguel Ramis.
