The Week: “Above all, they give me reason for the moves I made. I am right when after the elimination of the Portuguese Cup, I said I would use them again and trust them. It's a shame we lost because we'd done enough to win. They showed that you were right to insist on them. They gave FC Porto a lot of work.”
Large penalty: “It turns out to be a set game in a casual penalt. It's a shame it was like that, but we gave you a good answer. We were very competitive. Now the important thing is to continue against the Ave River. We do not promise victories, but we must continue with this humility and ambition, the results will appear more often.”
Elimination of the League Cup: “Within the capabilities of both teams, we play a very good game. When you waste the opportunities we had in the first part, you have to pay dearly. That's what happened. Too bad we're out of the competition, because I felt we could compete with the big ones in the four finals. Let’s try to continue the good work of the team in the League.”
