Kayla Marie Christensen is being accused of leaving her four-year-old daughter in a gas station and then running off with the other two kids inside the car. The event will have occurred around 3:00 last Friday.
According to KZRG radio, the woman later left her two children alone in the car and went to a casino in Wyandotte.
Authorities were called for an occurrence that accounted for a four - year - old girl alone and subsequently located Kayla Marie Christensen. Asked about her daughter, the woman replied that the girl was not her daughter and that the only children were with her.
Authorities thanked the gas station officials for keeping the four - year - old child calm and safe.
Inside the car, police will have found tools for drug use, namely syringes.
Christensen was arrested and charged with the crime of first-degree exposure or abandonment and two crimes for endangering minors. He was also accused of illegal possession of drugs.
