ANDthese two initiatives were announced by the PAN, in a statement, today, which marks Animal Day.
To strengthen animal protection, the Animal-People Party (PAN) protects against animals that autonomously criminalize the practice of zoophilia, thereby reinforcing “the criminal protection of animals and ensuring a more effective response to acts of sexual nature committed on animals”.
Already with the creation of the national register of animal aggressors, according to the PAN, the objective is to “ensure the access of competent entities, such as animal protection associations, convictions or counter-orders for animal crimes, promoting supervision, ensuring compliance with penalties and preventing the recurrence of animal abuse”.
In a statement, the PAN also points out that it will move forward in Parliament with a set of diplomas “to prevent and combat abandonment”.
Projects that, according to this party, “will go from support to families, to conducting sterilization campaigns, but also more dissuasive measures, such as the loss of driving license points or driving license for those leaving animals on the road or on the public road”.
