A trend of oil valuation in international markets continues during the morning of thursday, with brent value 0.3% to 95.95 euros per barrel, according to investang. It is about the worsening war between the US and Iran, which is dictating an increase in the price of oil and could cause a strong fuel deterioration already early next week.

The North Sea crude, a reference in Europe, ended the session at Intercontinental Exchange to rate 98 cents above the 94.65 dollars with which it ended the transactions on Tuesday.

After rising more than four percent the day before, brent continued his climb, in view of the fear of investors with further interruptions in the oil supply in the Middle East, after the recent deterioration of the situation, with the US attacks.

According to the Iranian Revolutionary Guard, U.S. bombings hit a residential house in Sirik near the Ormuz Strait, which caused several deaths, which did not quantify, and at least 50 wounded.

On Tuesday, Donald Trump said he did not intend to “force” Iran to negotiate, expressed confidence in the US position in the conflict and urged the Iranian people to rise up against the regime.

Hani Abuagla, an analyst at XTB MENA, said in an analytical text sent to EFE that investors are pending developments in the Middle East “after the return of military operations and their possible impact on migratory flows”, anticipating that oil prices may continue to rise if the war continues to escalate.

Fuels: What happened earlier this week?

The gas oil got cheaper earlier this week. On the other hand, gasoline became more expensive, as the forecasts indicated, according to the average prices released on Tuesday by the Directorate-General for Energy and Geology (DGEG).

Simple diesel dropped from EUR 2,07 per litre to EUR 2,029 per litre between Friday and Monday, while simple petrol 95 went from EUR 1,988 per litre to EUR 2,013 per litre.

Accounts made, the price of diesel dropped 4.1 cents, while gasoline rose 2.5 cents.

These daily average prices, for example, are “cleared on the basis of the prices reported by the fuel stations, weighted on the quantities sold during the last known period, incorporating the discounts at the supply stations as fleet and other cards”.
