U29-year-old Portuguese ma, resident in Friburgo, Switzerland, was sentenced, in early October, to 45 months in prison, with suspicion, and a fine for stalking the ex-boyfriend.
According to La Liberté, the woman did not accept the end of the relationship and, in mid-February 2025, began bombing the ex with messages sent by WhatsApp and Instagram.
Among other things, the Portuguese woman called the man “son of the...”, “piece of m...”, “dumb”. And threatened to "punch" him, destroy his apartment.
At one point, according to the French Public Prosecutor (MP), the defendant even forced her into the property, with suicide threats in the hall of the building. The ex-boyfriend didn't fall into the trap and call the police, which got him kicked out.
The following day, she tells the same newspaper, she raised the situation to a new level, managed to enter the man's Instagram account and sent messages to his new girlfriend, simulating the ending. “I still love my ex, I’ve been with her for six years” and “sincerely, I’m not interested”, were just some of the messages sent.
The identity theft was the last straw for the man, who eventually filed a complaint with the authorities.
The woman was thus constituted accused and now sentenced to suspension for harassment, as well as the payment of a fine of FF 300, about EUR 324.
