O gianluca Prestianni, from Benfica, was called today to the Argentine football team, for private individuals with Uruguay and Costa Rica, the first meetings after Lionel Messi's farewell.

Having a great start in the season at Benfica, with 10 goals in 18 meetings, Prestianni, 20 years old, continues to be part of the choices of the selector Lionel Scaloni, after debuting for the world's runners-up in October, in the victory over Burkina Faso.

In the list for the November privates, highlight the presence of the goalkeeper Emiliano Martínez, despite having fractured the jaw at Chelsea's service, and for the return of the defense Gonzalo Montiel (River Plate).

The news in the call are the so-called Aaron Anselmino (Chelsea), which debuts, and Mariano Troilo (Parma), which had already been called in 2025, but was not used.

By injury, are outside Cristian Romero (Atlético de Madrid), Lautaro Martínez (Inter Milan) and Nicolás González (Juventus), with Scaloni to keep the bet on young players such as Prestianni, Nico Paz (Como) or Franco Mastantuono (Fiorentina).

Argentina welcomes Uruguay on November 13 at Bombonera in Buenos Aires, four days before playing at home with Costa Rica, at Mario A. Kempes Stadium in Córdoba.
