Red Bull will not be able to count on Isack Hadjar in the Formula 1 Italian GP, as it had happened in August in the Netherlands GP. Liam Lawson and Yuki Tsunoda have opportunities with this absence.

Pher second round in a row, Isack Hadjar will stay out of it. The pilot fails the Formula 1 Italian GP of the next weekend (4 to 6 September) in Monza.
According to a statement, this is the injury to the wrist suffered during the summer break. The condition of the French has shown “encouraging progress”, but to avoid “necessary risks” a new absence was chosen.
As happened in August at the Dutch GP, Liam Lawson is Isack Hadjar's replacement alongside Max Verstappen, climbing from Racing Bulls where it usually competes. On Faenza's team, the New Zealand place is once again occupied by Yuki Tsunoda, who is out of the 2026 squad and thus will have a second chance to compete this year.
In Zandvoort, Liam Lawson cut the goal in seventh – not his best result of the year, but he was his best driver at Red Bull (where he played the first two rounds of 2025). Yuki Tsunoda, in turn, missed the points by almost being 11.
It is noted that Isack Hadjar is eighth with 68 points, plus 19 than Lawson that follows right behind. Before this injury, he was in a series of seven Grand Prixes followed by scoring.
