A death of the actor of the famous series “Breaking Bad”, RJ Mitte, left fans in shock. The artist was only 34 and took his own life.
The international press has now recalled that his financial life has led to a great break after the artist is deceived by the entrepreneur herself, which has led him to lose all the money he had earned from the series.
In an interview with podcast “The Iced Coffee Hour”, in 2025, he accused his former businesswoman of diverting his money when he was still underage. The artist confessed that it took more than ten years to pay off the debt to US finances.
“ I paid more on taxes than I earned on "Breaking Bad" Instead of her using the money to pay my taxes, she'd send me a fake tax return and keep the money. Five years later, with an interest of about 17% on the total amount each year, I received a beautiful debt. It took me ten years to manage to pay everything”, he explained.
In addition, he reported running out of money to sue her and said she did the same to at least 14 other minor actors. “She went after just people without financial structure to face years of processes and audits, which would cost millions,” she said.
RJ Mitte played Walter White Jr. in the series "Breaking Bad" and died in Brownsville, Texas, last Monday.
