Aoriginally announced in 2017, the second generation of Tesla Roadster could be about to happen – new rumors point to the presentation already in august.
And the moment may be truly striking, even questioning whether it is a car or another type of vehicle. The Information portal, which cites various sources within the subject, writes that a particularly special version should be demonstrated, in a kind of intersection with the aerospace industry.
In question, is a limited unit of this new Roadster equipped with SpaceX cold gas thrusters – a company that, like Tesla, is owned by Elon Musk. The demonstration will expose the flight capabilities of this new car.
Of course, such a machine cannot be used on public roads. In fact, it cannot even be conducted: the idea will pass by having the gas propellant in the place where the passenger would sit. That is, due to noise, it should not be possible to drive while the said thruster is in operation.
In fact, during the alleged launch event the operation must be done remotely without any human being on board. It should be remembered that Tesla also works in autonomous driving, so it is not surprising to be able to operate a vehicle remotely.
The price can reach millions of dollars, refers to the same organ. In any case, with regard to appearance, the special version that technically looks like a science fiction product should not be radically different from the standard.
