Ruben Amorim applauded in Italy for betting on Cisse: “Finally...”

Alphadjo Cisse is the new ‘beautiful boy’ of Italian football. The young A.C. Milan advance has been one of Ruben Amorim's great bets, corresponding in the best way and showing himself to the world last Thursday, when he completed a Hattrick in front of RB Salzburg in the Europa League. The arrival of the main selection of Italy is expected to take place at the next international break in November, and there are those who point to the importance of Amorim, who did not look at names when it comes to defining who is entitled to play in San Siro.

In an opinion article signed in Panorama, journalist Giovanni Capuano was enthusiastic about the appearance of young people who can give ‘new blood’ to the national team, stressing that there must be people who bet on them in their respective clubs. It's the case of Ruben Amorim.

“All of a sudden we’ve come back to produce talent in the attack, spearheads or extremes, talented and fearless young people, as modern football demands. And, unlike the past, there is finally also the desire to put them to play, seeking to value them”, he started by writing Giovanni Capuano.

“ It is necessary to thank Amorim, who bet on Cisse in a summer when everyone around him was discussing Leo's future. It seemed the bet of a somewhat naive coach, as well as a maneuver to ward off Milanello the former Portuguese idol. Instead, it was the right view of what Alphadjo can give and had already begun to show at the Catanzaro [club to which it was borrowed], before the severe muscle injury in the middle of the past period”, praised.

“Cisse seems blessed with the goal and reciprocates with enormous passion, either to play as extreme, or as number 9, despite his face. The Hattrick in Salzburg was from a real spearhead: apparently easy but, in fact, complex goals for those who do not have the instinct to always be in the right place at the right time. He, and Pio Esposito with different characteristics, waiting for Camarda – the youngest of all, still from the generation of 2008 – show that Mancini has raw material on which to build the future cycle”, concluded the Italian journalist.

Amorim praises Cisse, but leaves alert

The Portuguese coach assured, after the round in the Europa League, that he has only given the opportunities that Cissé deserves, through what happens in the daily life of AC Milan. At the same time, Ruben Amorim asked for patience and time for the young Italian to grow and improve various parameters of the game.

“My merit? He owes me nothing and deserves the space he's got. It could be explosive. It still has to improve on some aspects on the physical level, let's say, but it has a lot of heart. He needs to get better at practice and during games, but tonight all the compliments go to him. Hattrick is incredible and has enormous potential”, the Portuguese technician argued, in a press conference.

Cissy's starting in front of Atalanta?

Thursday's Hattrick can also be worth Cissé's continuity in the 11th AC Milan which, on Sunday afternoon, will face Atalanta. The advanced young man has alternated between the initial team and the bench of alternates, but Amorim will not be indifferent to the good time lived by Cisse.
