Sarah Michelle Gellar doesn't let go of the day her colleague and friend Shannen Doherty died. Just this Monday, July 13, the actress turned to her Instagram page to publicly mark the two years of the death of the star of “Beverly Hills 90210”.
In a post she made on her Instagram page, Sarah Michelle Gellar recalled two photographs where we can see her with Shannen Doherty and Deborah Waknin-Harwin.
“Shannen Doherty, something tells me that this photo is yours and Deborah Waknin-Harwin today,” he wrote in the caption. People remember that Deborah Waknin-Harwin was one of Shannen Doherty's best friends and died in March 2020, a cancer victim.
Shannen Doherty, who played Brenda Walsh in the series "Beverly Hills 90210", died on July 13, 2024, at the age of 53.
The death of Shannen Doherty after fighting cancer
Shannen Doherty, remember, “lost the battle against cancer after several years of fighting the disease,” as her advisor Leslie Sloane announced when she confirmed the death of the actress in 2024.
In a note she shared with People magazine at the time, Leslie Sloane added that the star of “Beverly Hills 90210” was “wheeled by loved ones, as well as by Billy Bowie.” In addition, it was also asked at the time “privacy” for the family at that delicate time.
