O Fribourg confirmed today to be the big surprise of the German Football League, with yet another high-level and 2-1 win show on Schalke 04, even playing with 10 players.

With this result, the Fribourg, who played home the match of the fifth day, leads the Bundesliga with 13 points, in punctual equality with the Dortmund but better difference of goals.

The team, which arrived on this journey as one of the three still without defeats in the race, already won by 10 minutes with the goal of Eggestein, in charging to a heading of Matthias Ginter initially defended.

Visitors reacted and restored equality at 30 minutes, through a pitch of a corner charged by Robin Gosens, with Kenan Karaman shooting to the bottom of the nets.

The meeting remained much disputed in the second part and, at 64 minutes, the Japanese Yuito Suzuki saw red card, leaving the Fribourg in numerical inferiority. However, Schalke 04 failed to take advantage of the situation.

It would even be Julian Schuster's men arriving at victory at 85 minutes, when Keisuke Goto climbed higher in the area to head straight after crossing Vincenzo Griffus.

In the Rhine classic, played at RheinEnergieStadion, the Cologne recorded a 2–1 victory over Borussia Mönchengladbach.

Coach Alexander Blessedin debuted in official games by Borussia but failed to ‘miracles’ and the formation continues with the red lantern, still without points.

The Cologne opened the marker at 26 minutes with Isak Johannesson at the entrance of the area, firing an excellent volleyball to the upper angle. The draw arrived even before the break, in head for Joe Scally's goal, after a cross coming from the left.

In the second part the formation of the house was stronger and reached the triumph, at 67 minutes, by El Mala, with a great shot to the lower right corner.

With this triumph, the Cologne rises to the 10th place, with seven points, in the middle of the Bundesliga table.
