A Netflix announced that it will release a second prequel of “Bridgerton” focused on the youth of Edmund and Violet, considered by fans as one of the most important characters in the series.
It is known that this second prequel will be a miniseries that will explore Violet's youth and the origin of the novel with Edmund, who died after an allergic reaction to the sting of a bee before the events of the first season of "Bridgerton".
There is still no plot or cast announced for this new prequel of "Bridgerton", and fans will in the meantime have the long awaited fifth season of the Netflix series. This new season will be released on first half of 2027 and will have as main couple Lady Francesca Stirling and Michaela Stirling, characters that will be played by Hannah Dodd and Masali Badua.
