A house provision will rise in November for Euribor credits at three, six and 12 months that are reviewed this month, according to simulations made by Deco Proteste for the Lusa agency.
The simulations of Deco Proteste are based on a scenario with a financing of EUR 150,000 to 30 years and a spread of 1%.
Based on these conditions, contracts with Euribor at 12 months revised in November will pay EUR 736.94 plus EUR 89.31 than they have paid since November 2025.
The six-month contracts with Euribor amount to EUR 44,24, to EUR 713,96, compared to that fixed in May.
Three-month contracts, on the other hand, pay another €17.62 in relation to the figure established in August, i.e. €684.92.
The Euribor rate rose today to three and six months and fell to 12 months from Thursday, ending October with the monthly average unchanged in the shortest time, advancing in the middle and descending in the longest.
The monthly average of Euribor in October remained at 2.635 to three months and increased by 0.053 points to 2.975 to six months. On the other hand, the mean of 12-month Euribor decreased by 0.008 points to 3.239%.
The average Euribor considered for the purposes of revision of a variable rate loan is that of the month preceding that of the signature of the credit agreement.
Data from Banco de Portugal (BdP) for August indicate that six-month Euribor represented 40.3% of the ‘stock’ of loans for permanent own housing with variable rate.
The same data indicate that Euribor at 12 and 3 months represented 31.03% and 24.27%, respectively.
