“ Pwe need a very high level of demand to be able to compete and be stronger in various aspects of the game. We know what the opponent does, it is a hard game to counter ", said the technician.

Vasco Seabra recognized the difficulty of meeting a team that adds five consecutive wins in the championship, but faced the challenge as an opportunity for Rio Ave to demonstrate competitive evolution.

“ We feel that we are going to have a fantastic game so that we can compete, because the greater the challenge, the greater also has to be our ambition in order to prove to ourselves that we are already more prepared”, he said.

About the Scholar of Viseu, Vasco Seabra praised the team's ambition, highlighting the intensity of the pressure exerted on any opponent.

“It’s a very capable and well trained team. Merit from Bruno Pinheiro and his players. They press very ambitiously, and show belief in each duel, each contact, forcing the opposing team often to take some risks or to play straight ", analyzed.

The coach also addressed the pressure associated with the position of the village-condenses in the classification table, with the place of ‘play-off’, assuming that the team needs to win more times.

“ I feel that the pressure is imposed even by us. We have to win games to get out of a boring position that nobody wants to be in. I will not be escaping the issue and covering the sun with the sieve ", stressed.

The coach assured that he drew lessons from the guild (4-0) suffered on the previous journey, at home, in front of the Famalicão, although considering that the result was heavier than the exhibition justified.

“ We weren't good enough to get points out of the game and to make the fans feel proud. And it is a process that we want to do with that same passion, but we will not be able to change everything from day to day”, he recognized.

Vasco Seabra also admitted changes in the squad during the January market, with possible entries and exits, but considered that the current group is able to present better results.

Miszta and Nélson Abbey are unavailable for the meeting, Pedro Amaral remains in doubt and Brandon Aguilera can join the call.

The Rio Ave, 16th ranked, with seven points, visits on Sunday the Academic of Viseu, sixth, with 17, in a match scheduled for 18:00, in the Municipal Stadium of Fontelo, with arbitration of João Gonçalves, of the Porto Football Association.
