Tony Career used social media in the last few hours to promote a very special show that is about to happen. This is a solidarity concert, performed by the musician, in honor of Sara Carreira.
“Tony Carreira takes the stage on August 7th in a solidarity concert in honor of Sara Carreira and the legacy of hope that is still alive through the Association”, highlighted the Sara Carreira Association by promoting the show.
Tony Carreira's solidarity concert takes place on Friday, August 7, at 10:00 p.m., at Baião Leisure Park in Góis, Coimbra district. The session has no scheduled seats and tickets for sale on Ticket have a cost of five euros.
“The entire revenue of the ticket office reverts to the Sara Carreira Association, allowing to continue to support young people to believe in their talent and to build their future”, can also be read in the sharing that promotes the show.
Through a video, Tony Career reinforced fans to the importance of this concert and explained how special it is.
“ Hello, everyone and everyone, I'm here to tell you that on August 7th I'm in Góis for a big concert. A concert with a very special purpose and very personal too. I hope to count on all of you, because with your presence you will have the opportunity to help the Sara Carreira Association – young people who need it so much”, said the musician in the images.
The Sara Carreira Association was created after Sara Carreira's premature death. The youngest daughter of former married Tony Career and Fernanda Antunes died on 5 December 2020 following a tragic car accident.
The association is intended for young people between 12 and 21 years old, living in Portugal, who need financial support to invest in the future and pursue their dreams. Each year, a group of young people is selected and scholarships are awarded to talents related to science, arts, technology or even to those with other areas of interest and vocation.
Applications took place exclusively online, between May 3 and 31, and the selected ones should be announced soon. Every year, the Sara Carreira Association also holds the Gala dos Sonhos, a solidarity show that aims to raise funds for scholarships and that is usually broadcast live on television, counting on the presence, participation and support of familiar faces of the world of the show in Portugal.
