Interrupted river transport on crossing Trafaria-Porto Brandão-Belém

Na publication on its official website, the company responsible for the river connection between Margem Sul and Lisbon explains that the interruption is due to “technical constraints”.

Despite the temporary interruption of the transport of vehicles, the passenger service is carried out, as usual, according to the current schedules, the note is advanced.

According to Transtejo Soflusa, “it is not possible to predict the resumption of this service”, stressing that it is “working to restore the vehicle transport service as soon as possible”.

Transtejo ensures river connections to Lisbon from Barreiro, Belém, Cais do Sodré, Cacilhas, Montijo, Pedroulços/Algés, Porto Brandão, Seixal, Trafaria and Terreiro do Paço.
