O US President Donald Trump again today attacked conservative television station Fox News, accusing her of spending too much time with Democrats before the mid-November elections.

“Fox spends more time defending the ‘Dumocrats’ and exposing its views compared to Republican opponents than at any other time in Fox News’ history. It’s ridiculous!”, Trump wrote on the Social Truth platform.

The President also accused the station of being “too hard to be ‘politically correct’”.

Trump even asked supporters to follow the rally he has scheduled for today in Kansas through the Right Side Broadcasting Network (RSBN), a conservative digital medium that regularly broadcasts its events live.

Fox News joined, on September 21, the boycott of the main television chains to Trump's coverage, after the President prevented CNN, MS NOW and Politico from accessing the White House.

Trump's relationship with Fox News was traditionally close and several former station figures are part of the current administration, including Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth and Transport Secretary Sean Duffy.

In recent weeks, however, Trump repeatedly criticized the station, accusing it of giving more attention and coverage to Democratic campaign events than Republicans.

Critics appear in the final line of the mid-term election campaign of November 3, at a time when polls released during the weekend by ABC News, The Washington Post and NBC News indicate a Democratic advantage between eight and 10 points.

A survey by The Washington Post, ABC News and Ipsos also awarded Trump a 33% approval rate, against 66% disapproval.

According to the same poll, this is Trump's worst result in this series of opinion studies considering his two terms, below the 38% recorded after the attack on the Capitol on January 6, 2021.
