Trump Bane of the House White three-way journalists: “Others will follow”

Donald Trump banned journalists from three American media outlets from entering the White House, the center of the federal executive power of the United States.

“ I am proud to announce that, with immediate effects, I banned ‘fake news’ CNN, MSNOW [...] and the Politico from entering the White House, due to the constant ‘reproduction’ of false news”, said Donald Trump, this Friday, through social networks.

In a publication made through his own social network, the US head of state considered that the media “should not be constantly writing or reproducing fiction and lies” when talking about the president, his administration or his own country.

The Republican goes especially to the website Politico, claiming that he received $8 million in an “illegal” way, “directly from the U.S. government,” during the administration of Joe Biden, to keep the page “live”. “It seems to me corruption”, he completed, although without presenting evidence or framework for such accusation.

Trump also poses a threat to the other journalists: “Other Fake News media will follow.”.

Although the dispute between the Republican leader and the media is not new – last year, the access of the Associated Press (AP) to some presidential events was restricted because the publication refused to adopt the designation “Golf of America” to speak of the Gulf of Mexico – this new episode opens a new chapter, starting the block taken to access information.
