“ ANDi'm ready at any time as long as all parties are ready. We are ready if you do not attack our energy system, our electricity and heating system,” Zelensky said to journalists in New York, where he participates in the UN General Assembly.

The Ukrainian head of state detailed that he spoke to Trump about this “energy moratorium”.

The ruler indicated that the United States will forward this proposal to Russia: “If we really think of a ceasefire, then we must stop attacking energy systems. But if they attack, we will answer ", assured.

Kyiv began attacking Russian refineries after Moscow repeatedly attacked Ukraine's power grid.

Zelensky called for the involvement of the United States and Europe to make Russia participate in the negotiations, and said Trump assured him at the meeting held today that he would do “anything possible” to help put an end to the conflict.

On a possible three-way meeting, previously proposed by Zelensky, the Ukrainian leader reiterated that he remains willing to meet with Russian leader Vladimir Putin.

So far, Trump has merely said that Putin is willing to meet with him, as he did in Alaska in August 2025.

Zelensky also addressed the next meeting between Trump and Chinese President Xi Jinping, and noted that he considers that the Chinese leader has influence over Putin and that “all countries must work to end the war.”.

“ If we all want to end this war, we all have to work 24 hours a day for it”, he insisted.

In addition, Zelensky pointed out that Ukraine continues to call for help from the United States to produce interceptor missiles for its Patriot systems, which are key to curbing Russian ballistic attacks as winter approaches.

Trump said today that it was possible for the US to allow Ukraine to manufacture, on its own, interceptor missiles for Patriot anti-aircraft systems, but it did not advance further details.
