“ Nwe'll stay. The European Union delegation will stay,” said the graduate student on social media.
Mathernova also warned Russia that “threat Europe will not prevent its support for Ukraine”.
Some individual delegations, such as Germany and Poland, also confirmed the permanence of the diplomatic mission in the capital of Ukraine.
“We will stay,” said German ambassador Boris Ruge, in response to Katarina Mathernova’s message.
The Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs has already said that Russian threats are contrary to international law.
“ We will continue to respond firmly to Russia's irresponsible and dangerous actions and increase pressure on the Kremlin together with our allies. We will not change the functioning of the Polish Embassy in Kyiv,” he said.
